Here are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about online giving:

Q: I get paid monthly. Can I AUTOMATE so that my gift comes out when I get paid?
Absolutely. You can set up your gift at any frequency you desire.

Q: What if I want to change my online giving or stop it?
You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime including the bank routing number, account number, date, fund, frequency and amount.

Q: When I get my email receipt it says it’s from “Spectrum.” What is Spectrum?
Spectrum is a merchant account agent that processes electronic transactions. All companies that process debit/credit cards and ACH transactions use a 3rd party company to handle the transaction.

Q: Will my contributions be reflected on my annual giving statement?
Every contribution you make to Vortex will be reflected on your giving statement.

Q. If we want to help people get out of debt, why does Vortex accept credit card donations?
Used within the parameters, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, and then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a debit or credit card to give. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt from exercising this option.
