In 2010 God called Kevin Simmons to come back home to Stanly County and start a life giving church in Albemarle. As lead pastor, Kevin is known for his practical teaching, training leaders to grow in leadership in ministry, and passionate worship.
Kevin and Amanda both have strong roots in Stanly County. Kevin graduated from South Stanly High School in 1996, while Amanda is a graduate of North Stanly High School. Kevin taught at both North Stanly and South Stanly Middle School, where he also coached football in both high school programs.
In early 2012 Kevin and Amanda moved back to Stanly County from Columbia, SC where Kevin had served as Executive and Creative Pastor at a local church.
Kevin and Amanda are passionate about leading a life-giving church in Stanly County that is focused centrally on Jesus and inviting others into a life-changing journey of following Him.
Kevin and Amanda, along with their daughter Adahlae and son Klayton, live just outside of Albemarle. Kevin enjoys playing music, writing, and playing golf when he gets the chance. Amanda loves being a mommy, serving her family, and crafting when she gets a chance!
